Prospective Thai Travelers need to check out
some sites. |
Thailand has been the cross roads between China and India. Both cultures
came by sea and pushed the original people up northward to the Chang Mai
region. I guess you can say I am living proof of this mixture. Most of
us, Thais look more Chinese but I somehow got a semi pointy nose from
the Northern Indian family side??? YEAH, so I'm a mutt. What about it???
Hey, BTW, our alphabet is Indian Sanskrit, so I should be able to pick
up Tibetan fairly easy, right?? That should be helpful studying mahayana
Buddhism.
Anyway, Thai has always been exotic. Now it has become quite fashionable
and even very affordable in the last few years with the economy hurting.
It is a real bargain and you will live like royalty. Airplane flights
are cheap, as low as $700 round trip from NYC and Thailand is known for
its fun and resorts, many people have been asking
me to recommend places to stay and visit. That is very difficult
for me since I always stay with family. (Ah, sometimes I would rather
not, so you can help me out by telling me where are the hottest and most
fun places to stay.) I am way overdue for a trip, my name is almost mud
with my family, so I gotta do a daughters duty and visit home again soon.
So send me an email on what you did and where you stayed.
Everything is impermanent. Like time, the world and this THAI-IN site
the hot, cool and hip places are changing constantly. Besides, a picture
is a thousand words and the web is more informative and patient than I
ever could be as an travel agent wanabe.
To the enthused and interested traveler here is a list of my favorite
thai travel sites made in Thailand and America. Remember impermanence,
for these sites are also constantly changing, besides sometimes our lack
of electricity cause outages.
I am also including a growing list of links and rules to some of my most
favorite games.
Bon Voyage
