As you check out my diary, you will notice that I have reserved this _LEFT_ side space for images. I have been loving my Canon Elph powershot s100. It is so small and discreet.

I love taking pictures. Tend to be nicknamed "the photojournalist." So besides my love of cooking, this is the other reason for creating this site to show off my photographic talents.

Besides what better quicker way to show off images to a bunch of people without actually visiting them. Wanna take a peek into what I have documented????

Then keep your eyes open for this little device. If the image on the front introduction page has this little camera next to it then by clicking on it or the image a new window will pop up to a photo album of images. I also organized _MOST_ of the images on this page.

It is almost a year since I got the canon elph, I first started posting images with "blurbs" for a work Christmas party, Zoo xmas in 2000. Then came a canoe trip and our volleyball games. Careful if you don't have a fast connection. It was my first play with this camera and some of the images are larger than they may appear.

	Heike's BBQ party Originally I was too busy to go to this, then the day before, I got laid off from work. I am really glad I went. It is where a wonderful relationship started to brew.

	Indian Lake Canoe Trip This was THE trip of the summer, so much fun, somewhere upstate. We had our own island. I am still afraid of the dark after a few games of flashlight tag. Mommy, I wanna go home...

This was much harder than I thought. Telling the world how I feel each day. Opening myself up, to the world feeling so raw and vulnerable.

I constantly wanted to be positive, giving lots of energy to all my friends. But on some days I just couldn't write and upload, especially after the World Trade Center event. I was so sad, I was a mess. So instead of weekly, it became monthly. I even missed a month.

It is my goal here to be a force of encouragement and positive energy especially in these hard and unstable times. I have too many friends out of work. Each day we all suffer but I try to think of something positive to do or say and ways to encourage.

Hence, all my pictures, stories and recipes, I want to share. I hope you come for a visit and leave with a smile.
