nexuscafe.com, which was created by my old housemate, mike, for the hobokencafe.com where one can post questions on travel tips, thai food, dharma talks or whatever comes up.
Do we live to eat or eat to live???? I love cooking
and entertaining. Friends are always asking me for recipes, so this part
of the site is for you and those who love thai food. So far, I am posting
up just a few of my favorite dishes and a personal childhood story to
go with it. People are encouraged to email
me their own favorite recipes or favorite restaurants in the NYC area.
In the future, I wanna create my own little thai zagats.

Swasdee kha and welcome!Just call us Thai Twinkies. Yellow on the outside and white in the middle. Saturday, March 30, 2002
Originally The birth of this site was to connect and network young Thais who have grown up outside of Thailand. Since the 1970's large numbers of Thai children, including myself have been raised abroad, mostly in the States and in Europe after the Vietnam War. Many still speak their mother tongue and travel to Thailand frequently. This site is for all those who have some Thai blood in them, as well as all those who are interested in Thai culture. Just like the country, Thai-in is under constant construction. I never realized what it took to create, publish and maintain a site all by myself. I have made lots of allies and am having so much fun on this site. In fact, like so many web sites, it will never be finished, just constantly changing. I do hope to have new material imported and exported daily, or at least weekly. It is a growing site, with the help of both Thai and non-Thai friends, where I hope one can connect with their past or future, with others, express themselves and maybe even leave with a smile. Fast Forward to Y2K |
